Sara R: Timing conception with fertility charting

This story was submitted to Kindara by Sara R.

I'm a planner.

I knew about a year out that I wanted to get pregnant was in March. I stopped birth control, talked to friends, and read books. I loved "Taking Control of Your Fertility" but it wasn't until I found Kindara that everything clicked. Using the book and the app together let me easily follow along with what was going on in my body. My phone was always with me and, therefore, so was Kindara.

I charted for three months, actively "tried" for a week, and BAM— it worked. Little plus signs.

41 weeks later, I started feeling funny at Thanksgiving Dinner. Instead of driving home, we went by the hospital just to make sure and little Dorothy was born the next afternoon.

She'll be a year old later this month. It's still a ways away, but I've already begun planning for number two :)

I'm thrilled that Kindara is branching out to wearables and adding the Wink to their incredibly useful and helpful app is good news all around.
